Vehicle Description My father-in-law bought it used in the late 1960's.
Truck is red with gray interior, straight shift on the column and the odometer stopped working years ago.
He drove it regularly until his death in 1994.
I used it for a number of years, driving to work and taking my kids to school.
When we moved from Georgia to Tennessee in 1999, we transported many of our belongings in the truck, as it was still running well.
In Tennessee, I drove it frequently around the farm, and also to work.
By this time the truck had developed the patina of age, and once when I drove it to work, my employer, thinking it had been abandoned, had the truck towed.
Imagine my surprise when I went to the parking lot at the end of the day and--no truck! The truck ran well for years, but eventually the gear shift got hung up over a decade ago, and it has been parked under a shed roof since then.
